Bone Collector

Ezekiel had the weirdest vacation in the bible. In his vision, he was led by the spirit of the Lord to a valley. Only that this particular valley was filled with bones.

The hand of the Lord was on me, and he brought me out by the Spirit of the Lord and set me in the middle of a valley; it was full of bones. Ezekiel 37:1,2

It is important to note the valley was not filled with skeletons, but rather bones that were scattered across the valley floor. Such was the desperate condition of the people of God at that time. The vision explains the hopeless situation of the Israelites. The circumstances looked bleak and beyond repair.

But God had different plans. But before He completes His plan, He wanted to know whether the Prophet believed in His power.

Can these bones live?

Looking at your current situation, God is asking you if there would be a breakthrough. He knows He can. But do you believe He can?

If we can stand in faith and put our trust in him, God will take us to such a situation to make us understand that we cannot do anything. But it is in that situation, you will receive God’s strength and presence. God doesn’t have a plan B. He has a singular plan and if we stick to it, it will always succeed.

So be encouraged. Prophesy to the dry bones. Speak the promises of God in your life over your dead circumstances so that the dead situation can hear God’s word and come back to life. Because through His word, God brought everything out of nothing.

When God breathes, the spiritually dead come back to life. The valley filled with dry bones will see the live army standing by the influence of the Holy Spirit.

and provide for those who grieve in Zion— to bestow on them a crown of beauty instead of ashes, the oil of joy instead of mourning, and a garment of praise instead of a spirit of despair. They will be called oaks of righteousness, a planting of the Lord for the display of his splendor Isaiah 61:3
