Hope for a better day
Regardless of your circumstances, the word of God still reaffirms to us that we are not alone.
God is our refuge and strength, an ever-present help in trouble. Psalms 46:1
God alone is our refuge and strength. He is our guide as we navigate through the storms. It is Him who is a sure foundation on which we can build our lives. This pandemic has opened our eyes to a glaring truth. We cannot rely on our own strength. Our human intelligence and intellect can only take us so far. Eventually, everything will fail except for the word of God.
The word of God never promised a trouble-free life. But instead, it confirms that despite the circumstances, the Lord will always remain beside us. He will never leave us or forsake us.
Looking back on our lives, we can surely see how the grace of God has carried us so many times. He had been faithful through the storms and the flames. There will always be situations where God allows us to pass through trials. These are to strengthen our resolve and increase our faith.
When you pass through the waters,I will be with you; and when you pass through the rivers, they will not sweep over you. When you walk through the fire, you will not be burned; the flames will not set you ablaze Isaiah 43:2
When we pass through the storms, we are not abandoned. we are still under the watchful eyes of God our father. Even in our darkest days, Jesus is interceding for us. In our most hopeless nights, the Holy Spirit prays for us.
So do not fear, for I am with you; do not be dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you and help you; I will uphold you with my righteous right hand Isaiah 41:10
If you find yourself struggling today, let these words encourage your soul. God has not forsaken you. He is still with you. He will fulfill his word in your life. This is the reason to be hopeful and smile. He is with us even to the end of days.
